Manufacturing & industrial equipment financing case studies

Production lines, machine tools and recycling systems. The case studies connect the equipment scope with delivery, installation and the production workflow.

At a glance

This collection documents 142 projects involving machine tools, production and packaging lines, handling equipment, recycling systems and the machinery of workshops and plants: 91 acquisitions or replacements, 33 sale-leasebacks or refinancings, 18 vendor or sales-financing programs. Each case describes the equipment need and the support provided; client identities are withheld, and historical amounts and terms are context, not current offers.

What these projects have in common

Most industrial projects start from a production reason: a machine that has become unreliable, a bottleneck, a new customer order or a new line. The clearest project descriptions explain the machine and its role in the process, not only its price. Custom lines add delivery stages, acceptance tests and installation work that are best listed separately from the equipment itself.

How a financing partner reads a project in this sector

In manufacturing, the order book and the supply contracts behind a machine often explain more than the balance sheet alone. A widely used lathe or press brake has a second-hand market; a line built for one plant does not, so its review leans more on the business signing the contract and on the orders it serves. When a group company, a key customer or an investor stands behind the project, say so in the first message: it can only be taken into account if it is known.

Each financing provider applies its own criteria, and this website does not publish them. A project that does not match one provider's focus is a question of fit, not a verdict on the business.

What to prepare for a similar project

  • The supplier quote, with each machine, option and service listed separately
  • The production reason: replacement, extra capacity, a new product or a new customer contract
  • Installation, foundations, power and acceptance milestones, and who is responsible for each
  • The legal entity that would sign, and any customer contract or parent company behind the project

Describe your project and Leaseworld will review whether an introduction to a financing partner makes sense.
