Manufacturing

Industrial equipment projects, clearly scoped.

Prepare an industrial machinery financing inquiry covering equipment, installation, acceptance, and the planned period of use.

Break down the project cost

A machine purchase can include tooling, controls, freight, installation, training, and site work. Provide an equipment-focused breakdown so the financing partner can assess what it can consider. Do not assume that every cost on a supplier proposal will be financeable.

Explain delivery and acceptance

Document expected delivery, factory testing, installation, and commissioning milestones. Discuss deposits and progress payments before committing to a supplier schedule. Identify which organization is responsible for confirming that the equipment has been received and accepted.

Think through the later decision

Specialized machinery may be costly to relocate or remove. Compare the planned operating life with proposed purchase, renewal, and return provisions. Ask how maintenance records, condition, and modifications affect the agreement.

  • Standard machine or custom-built system?
  • Single asset or integrated production line?
  • Which site will operate the equipment?
  • Who will handle dismantling and transportation if returned?
