The equipment need

A transport trailer manufacturer and importer of recycling equipment wanted to complete its technical offer with a financing solution.

Its clients, made up of public authorities and private operators involved in public contract, reason in operating budget rather than in investment.

The perimeter covered the metropolitan area and the Overseas, which required a partner able to deal with cases across the territories.

  • Collection bins
  • Ball presses
  • Mills and compactors
  • Conveyors and sorting lines

The support described in the project

We have built a program combining long-term rental and leasing, depending on whether the customer wants to become owner of the equipment.

The durations were set between 36 and 72 months to match the contractual visibility offered by public contract.

The manufacturer's maintenance and follow-up services have been integrated into the lease payments in order to present a single operating cost.

The reported operational outcome

The manufacturer's sales teams now submit a monthly rental payment as soon as their technical offer is submitted.

Communities commit their sorting and collection equipment without using a single investment envelope.

The partnership covers the metropolitan area and the overseas region indifferently, without any interruption of treatment depending on the territory.

Applying the experience to a new project

Use this case to identify the equipment, timing and ownership questions relevant to your own investment. The historical scope and term are specific to the project described. For a new U.S. project, identify the contracting business, installation state, supplier quote and preferred use period; available structures require a separate assessment.
