Who is responsible

Information collected

When you send a request, we collect your company or organization name, contact name, job title if provided, email, phone if provided, equipment location, category, estimated budget, timing, project description and the files you choose to attach. We record the acknowledgment version and time of submission.

The website and inquiry hosting systems also process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, requested pages and security events to serve and protect the service. The public site does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The restricted admin uses session cookies for authenticated access.

We use a self-hosted Umami service to measure page visits and referring websites without analytics cookies or session replay. The service receives technical browser information to produce aggregate audience statistics. Form contents, names, email addresses, URL query parameters and attachment data are not sent to this analytics service. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this measurement. You can also disable audience measurement using the footer control; that preference is stored in your browser.

Why we use it

We use project information to respond, understand the equipment need, communicate about the request, consider and coordinate an introduction, and maintain a record of the resulting project. We use technical data for service operation, abuse prevention and security.

Where the GDPR applies, responding to a person’s own requested contractual steps may rely on Article 6(1)(b); handling business-representative requests and operating and protecting the service rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). We may also retain records needed to meet legal obligations. The form acknowledgment records your request for project-related contact and sharing; it is not a subscription to marketing.

Recipients and sharing

Authorized Leaseworld personnel review the request first. Relevant contact details, project information and attachments may then be shared with a financing provider to respond to the project request. Providers receive access only when Leaseworld assigns a project to them. The provider’s identity and its own privacy information will be made available during the introduction.

Our hosting and technical service providers process information to operate the website and inquiry workspace. We may disclose information where legally required or needed to establish or defend legal claims. We do not use inquiry data for advertising audiences or sell it as a marketing contact list.

Where information is processed

The public website runs on DigitalOcean infrastructure in the United States. Requests and attachments are sent over HTTPS to the central Leaseworld workspace hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland and are accessible to authorized Leaseworld personnel in France. An assigned U.S. financing provider may process the shared project information in the United States.

International processing can involve different data-protection laws. Where applicable, transfers must use the appropriate legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. You can contact Leaseworld for information about the arrangements applicable to your project.

Retention and security

We retain project records while handling the request and any resulting business relationship, and for as long as reasonably necessary to document communications, meet applicable legal obligations or deal with disputes. The retention assessment considers the project’s status, our last substantive contact and any applicable legal requirements. You may request deletion of a request that is no longer needed.

Access to the workspace and attachments is restricted. Files are not published on the public website. Do not send bank credentials, Social Security numbers, patient records or unnecessary sensitive information. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete information, restrict its use, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Portability and other rights apply where the relevant law provides them. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify your identity and retain records required by law.

To stop a project request or raise a privacy concern, contact contact@leaseworldusa.com, submit a request through the website clearly marked Privacy request, or write to our postal address. Where applicable, you may complain to the CNIL in France or another competent data-protection authority. Applicable U.S. state rights depend on the law and its scope.

Effective date

Effective September 19, 2026. Material changes to this notice will be reflected here. Financial providers handle subsequent applications under their own notices.
