Building equipment

HVAC and energy equipment project inquiries.

Prepare a project scope for HVAC, solar, storage, and related business equipment without assuming financing or incentive eligibility.

Define the project scope

Separate the equipment from engineering, permits, roof or building work, installation, interconnection, and long-term service. Identify the property owner, business occupant, supplier, and entity expected to sign. A solar array, battery system, and HVAC replacement involve different project questions.

Explain the operating plan

Explain site control, landlord approval if relevant, expected commissioning, and any existing obligations affecting the equipment or property. Ask the partner whether it can consider installed assets and the proposed project costs; do not assume that a general equipment program covers them.

Review the end-of-term position

Clarify maintenance, removal, ownership, and restoration obligations. Project economics that rely on tax credits, incentives, energy savings, or output guarantees require independent verification and appropriate supplier documentation. Leaseworld does not calculate or guarantee those benefits.

Prepare the first conversation

These are project-preparation questions, not a statement that the equipment or applicant is eligible. Leaseworld can explore a possible introduction; the financing partner determines its scope and any proposed terms.

  • Who controls the site throughout the proposed term?
  • Which costs are equipment and which are construction?
  • What permits or approvals remain outstanding?
  • Which party promises performance or maintenance?
