Medical & healthcare equipment financing case studies

Equipment projects for independent practices and healthcare operators. Financing support is separate from clinical claims, device authorization and patient-data responsibilities.

At a glance

This collection documents 51 projects involving imaging, diagnostic, dental, ophthalmology, aesthetic and wellness equipment for practices, clinics and distributors: 35 acquisitions or replacements, 3 sale-leasebacks or refinancings, 13 vendor or sales-financing programs. Each case describes the equipment need and the support provided; client identities are withheld, and historical amounts and terms are context, not current offers.

What these projects have in common

Two kinds of project recur. Practices and clinics equip a new room, replace an imaging system or open a site; distributors and manufacturers want to offer a monthly payment to the practitioners who buy from them. Both work best when the device, its installation and any service contract are described separately.

How a financing partner reads a project in this sector

For a practice, the reviewer looks at the entity that signs, whether a professional corporation, a group or a management company, and at how the new equipment fits the existing activity. A widely used imaging or dental system is read differently from a device built around a new procedure. Clinical claims, device clearances and patient-data duties are separate from the financing question and stay with the provider.

Each financing provider applies its own criteria, and this website does not publish them. A project that does not match one provider's focus is a question of fit, not a verdict on the business.

What to prepare for a similar project

  • The device, its configuration, installation needs and service contract
  • The site and the entity that operates it
  • Whether the equipment replaces a system or adds a new service
  • For a distributor: the type of customers and how the offer fits the sales process

Describe your project and Leaseworld will review whether an introduction to a financing partner makes sense.
