Equipment condition

Used and refurbished business equipment.

Information to prepare for a possible financing introduction involving used or refurbished business equipment.

Industrial robotic equipment inside a manufacturing facility

Describe the asset, not just the discount

Include manufacturer, model, age, condition, usage history, supplier, and proposed acquisition price. Distinguish a manufacturer's refurbishment program from a seller's description of a used asset. The partner decides whether it can consider that equipment.

Clarify title, support, and inspection

Ask the seller about ownership records, existing financing interests, inspection rights, warranty, available service, and software transferability. A lower acquisition price does not by itself establish the cost or suitability of a financing arrangement.

Match the intended term to the project

Explain how long you expect to use the asset and any planned upgrades or replacement. We do not publish automated resale values or guarantee remaining useful life. A partner may require its own asset assessment.

  • Is there a supplier invoice and identifiable asset list?
  • Are maintenance records available?
  • What warranty and parts support remain?
  • Does the equipment need relocation or reinstallation?
