The equipment need
A study office specializing in solar energy has asked us to finance the projects of its professional clients.
The installations concerned equip industrial, tertiary and agricultural sites with electricity production consumed on site.
Investments were in a range of around $57,300 per project, a ticket often left out of the traditional banking channels.
The study office wanted to be able to simulate and pre-mnmn the funding as soon as its technical study was submitted.
- Self-consumption photovoltaic power station
- Inverters and connection panels
- Roof or floor support structures
- Production monitoring and counting
The support described in the project
We have defined a leasing framework applicable to all projects in the design office.
The duration was set at 72 months in order to align the rental payments with the energy savings generated by the facility.
A simulation tool was made available to encrypt the rental payment directly in the study file provided to the client.
The eligibility criteria were communicated upstream so that only the financial files could be submitted.
Each application shall be answered in principle within 48 hours of receipt of the financial elements.
The reported operational outcome
The clients of the study office access their solar installation without using their operating cash.
Funding is now presented in conjunction with the technical study, which shortens the decision-making cycle.
The study office has transformed a funding constraint into a commercial argument for its on-site electricity use projects.
Applying the experience to a new project
Use this case to identify the equipment, timing and ownership questions relevant to your own investment. The historical scope and term are specific to the project described. For a new U.S. project, identify the contracting business, installation state, supplier quote and preferred use period; available structures require a separate assessment.
