The equipment need

A French renewable-energy installer wanted to offer business customers a financing route for photovoltaic installations alongside its equipment proposal. The aim was to address the funding question during the sales process instead of leaving it until after the technical proposal.

Leaseworld’s project support

Leaseworld supported a vendor-financing approach for the installer’s commercial customers. The French source describes a leasing arrangement within the sales offer, with the installation scope identified as part of the project.

The reported outcome

The installer gained a financing route to discuss with prospective customers. We do not reproduce unquantified conversion-rate claims or imply that lease payments will be covered by energy savings.

What changes for a U.S. project?

For U.S. solar projects, separate equipment, installation, roof work, interconnection and maintenance. Establish site control and obtain independent advice on incentives and tax treatment. Savings, output and financing eligibility should each be supported separately.
