The equipment need
A company with a logistics warehouse wanted to equip 1,000 m2 of its roof with a photovoltaic installation.
The project represented a budget of around $195,000, an amount that the company did not wish to draw from its own funds.
It was looking for a financing structure that would allow lease payments to remain below energy saving and expected production revenues.
The timing was constrained by the time required to supply the equipment and the availability of the installer.
- Roof photovoltaic panels
- Inverters and connection boxes
- Fixing and washing structures
- Production supervision system
The support described in the project
We have mounted a 84-month lease covering the entire installation: panels, inverters, fixing structures and supervision.
The long term was used to align the rental payment with the life of the equipment and the rate of savings generated.
Disbursements were arranged according to the progress of the project, from the delivery of the equipment to the commissioning.
We provided a policy response within 48 hours, which made it possible to secure the installation slot.
The reported operational outcome
The plant was financed in full, without an upfront contribution from the company's liquidity.
The monthly rental payment has been set at a level covered by energy savings and production revenues.
The roof of the entepôt, previously inexplicable, has become a productive asset for the company.
Applying the experience to a new project
Use this case to identify the equipment, timing and ownership questions relevant to your own investment. The historical scope and term are specific to the project described. For a new U.S. project, identify the contracting business, installation state, supplier quote and preferred use period; available structures require a separate assessment.
