Equipment financing for franchise and multi-site projects
Clarify the applicant, site, supplier standards and rollout plan for a U.S. franchise equipment financing introduction.

Who is the applicant?
A franchise brand, franchisor, franchisee and site-operating entity are not necessarily the same organization. Identify the entity expected to sign and be responsible for the equipment. Brand recognition does not establish the applicant's eligibility or mean a parent will guarantee its obligations.
For multiple sites, explain whether one entity operates them all or whether several applicants are involved. A combined supplier order does not automatically create a single financing transaction.
Match supplier requirements to the project
List required equipment specifications, approved suppliers, installation obligations and software dependencies. Separate equipment from fit-out, inventory, franchise fees and recurring services. The partner determines which parts of the project it can consider.
Coordinate delivery and acceptance with site readiness and launch dates. Ask how a delay in one location affects its schedule and whether it affects other schedules. Keep documentation attached to the correct entity and physical assets.
Plan for changes during the term
Ask about relocation, replacement, ownership changes, brand-standard upgrades and site closure. Requirements in a franchise agreement and obligations under equipment financing can be separate. Have advisers review them together when they interact.
Maintain an asset-to-schedule register and notice calendar across locations. This makes it easier to understand which items can be returned, renewed or purchased and which costs apply at each site.
Prepare a clear introduction
Describe the entity map, equipment package, state or states, supplier and estimated budget. Do not submit confidential franchise agreements through the initial form; the partner can explain what it needs later.
