The equipment need
The company had to renew its main earth-moving equipment to meet its construction deadlines.
Two 22-ton gear configurations competed for a similar investment in both cases.
The manager was looking for an adjunct to compare financing offers before deciding on the machine.
- 22-ton hydraulic track roller
- Earthmoving and curing buckets set
The support described in the project
We built a 60-month lease, built to remain valid regardless of the machine being held.
The set of earth-moving buckets and curge has been integrated into the same contract, in order to have only one rental payment to follow.
The schedule has been adapted to the seasonality of public works projects.
The reported operational outcome
The company chose its equipment on technical criteria, the financing being acquired in both cases.
The equipment was put into operation without advance equity beyond the first lease payment.
The stock was renewed while maintaining the company's bank borrowing capacity.
Applying the experience to a new project
Use this case to identify the equipment, timing and ownership questions relevant to your own investment. The historical scope and term are specific to the project described. For a new U.S. project, identify the contracting business, installation state, supplier quote and preferred use period; available structures require a separate assessment.
