The equipment need

A project leader was preparing for the opening of a restaurant in the southwest.

He wanted to finance all the professional kitchen equipment (ovens, cold, stainless steel furniture) without having its first annual accounts.

He had a personal contribution and a business plan finalized, but wondered about the eligibility conditions and the terms of an equipment lease.

  • Professional ovens
  • Cold equipment
  • Stainless steel furniture

The support described in the project

We have annihilated the business plan and the contribution to present the application to our financial partners specialized in newly created companies.

We have put in place a 60-month equipment lease contract covering all the kitchen equipment.

The contribution was mobilised as the first additional rental payment in order to secure the application and reduce the following rental payments.

The reported operational outcome

The facility was able to open with new and complete equipment without tying up its launch liquidity.

Monthly lease payments have been aligned against business plan operating forecasts.

A reduced residual purchase option was provided at the end of the contract.

Applying the experience to a new project

Use this case to identify the equipment, timing and ownership questions relevant to your own investment. The historical scope and term are specific to the project described. For a new U.S. project, identify the contracting business, installation state, supplier quote and preferred use period; available structures require a separate assessment.
