A GPU financing inquiry should identify the contracting organization, exact hardware scope, supplier quote, installation site, and intended use period. Power, cooling, hosting, and software should be separated before a partner considers a structure.

A rack is not a complete project budget
NVIDIA describes GB300 NVL72 as a liquid-cooled rack-scale system combining 72 Blackwell Ultra GPUs and 36 Grace CPUs. Those specifications describe a platform; they do not establish the price of a supplier configuration or the financing available for it.
Create a scope with separate lines for the rack, networking, storage, delivery, installation, software, hosting, and facility work. Assign each line an owner and a supplier. Ask which items the partner can consider, rather than treating the full deployment budget as one eligible asset.
Use a milestone ledger
Write down the expected dates for purchase order, deposit, delivery, installation, testing, acceptance, and productive use. Then add the party that signs off at each step. A supplier's shipment date and the customer's acceptance date may be different.
This ledger exposes a practical question: what happens if the rack arrives before the facility is ready? Ask the partner when payment obligations begin, whether interim charges apply, and what approvals are needed if dates change. Do not commit to a supplier payment schedule on the assumption that financing will match it.
Separate useful life from the preferred term
A three-year planning horizon is a project assumption, not evidence that a three-year offer is available. Explain why that horizon fits the workload, refresh plan, and organization's procurement process. Ask how an early replacement, relocation, or partial upgrade would be treated.
For an ownership plan, request the purchase conditions. For a return plan, work through disconnection, transport, data removal, accessories, and the return destination. Avoid using an assumed future GPU resale value as a guaranteed buyout or a guaranteed saving.
The first conversation
Send a concise project description first. Keep confidential models, research data, financial statements, and bank information out of the general inquiry. If the project progresses, the financing partner can specify its approved application and document channels.
- Legal applicant and authorized procurement contact
- Equipment configuration and supplier quote status
- Installation state and site-readiness milestones
- Budget in USD, separated into hardware and other costs
- Requested term and intended ownership or return outcome
